The heart of a Christ-Follower seeks to become like Jesus. Paul wrote this to the Philippian church (2:5-9): have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death -even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him....
Following in Jesus' steps is counter-intuitive to our human way of thinking, but letting him make us over in his image is worth every step we take. Walk with Jesus through the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) and let his example of living and walking in this world transform your way of living. Walk in HIS steps.
Following Jesus means more than going to church weekly or occasionally. It means that we allow Jesus to daily transform us into new mind sets and behaviors.
In other words, we are: Remade by Jesus.
